We know this is a handful of info, but the most important parts are dropping us your resume and availability. From there we can see what works! ;)

Today we are looking for committed and reliable instructors to start in January 2026 in MAPLE RIDGE B.C.

Aside from the teaching experience, here are a few criteria we look for in our instructors:

Femme-presenting, mature, optomistic & organized, community-driven, hungry to learn, excited to teach, healthy personal habits, kind and confident leadership skills, effective communicator, and always ready to DANCE! ;)

OUR PROGRAMS:

Programs typically run for 10 - 12 weeks, with shorter 4-8 week additional programs within that time frame. (see schedule section below) We also have a live show at the end of our programs where teachers are involved in the process, and also have the option to perform themselves! These shows are THE MOST fun!

We ask that applicants only submit if they are wanting to commit to at least 2 seasons (January to March & April to June). Depending on what you teach, you may have programs that only run for 1 month each season.

If you have possible scheduling conflicts, pre-booked trips, or any uncertainties about the commitment or schedule, we are ALWAYS open to chatting so please bring your questions to the table and let's see what we can do!

THE HIRING PROCESS:

Step 1: You submit your awesome package!

Step 2: We contact you to let you know we received your application, and those we feel fit our requirements will receive an invite for Step 3.

Step 3: A 1:1 Zoom call will be set up with our directors, and further details of the contract, our programs, teacher training, commitment expectations, rates & more will be discussed! This is where you can also ask all of the questions you have!
If at any point you feel the position is not feeling like a fit, no hard feelings! You can let us know at that time, or email us after the call.

Step 4: You will receive an email from us within 7 days of the call. For those who we feel may be a fit you may be invited to teach a live 30 minute class in-studio, but that will be discussed.

For the right candidate, we have adjusted some program times/days to accommodate teacher schedules, so please be sure to share all of your availability with us even if it does not fully align with our current schedule.

For Vancouver sessions: These are scheduled case by case, depending on the teachers availability.

*This is pre-registered dancers and its drop-in style where dancers learn a new combo/training each week in differenty styles (Instructors choice. No show. Just training.) These sessions are scheduled based on Instructors availability.

*Instructor creates 1 show piece for the upcoming live dance showcase.
These sessions are scheduled based on Instructors availability.

WEDNESDAYS: 10 WEEK PERFORMANCE PROGRAMS

7pm - 8pm Beginner Jazz-Funk

815pm - 915pm Beginner Heels

930pm - 1030pm Intermediate Heels & Jazz-funk
*2 show pieces are created for this level
