Danny Davalos


Danny is an internationally known professional dancer, teacher and choreographer and was the owner of O.I.P. Dance Centre, a staple drop-in studio in Toronto for over 10 years.


As a dancer, Danny has performed and toured worldwide with top artists such as Rihanna, Ricky Martin, Shakira, and Sean Paul. A few of his greatest performances include those with Danny Fernandes and Shawn Desman on their "Hit & Run European Tour", the Much Music Video Awards, the motion picture "Shall We Dance" with Jennifer Lopez, and the Carnival Choreographers Ball. Danny was also the lead choreographer for a TV series called “Popstars; The One”.


Outside his dance career, Danny has directed and produced many theater plays, live performances, music videos, and short films. He was also the TV host and producer of  “Get Up and Dance”, on the BPM TV network.

Most recently, Danny was an assistant choreographer with the Cirque Du Soleil team for the PanAm Opening Ceremonies alongside Luther Brown. Today, he is focusing much of his attention on growing and enhancing Toronto dancers by utilizing all he has experienced throughout his career through training the ladies of the Badass Babes program.

Chelsea Davalos


Chelsea is a born and raised Vancouverite who has continued to train, perform, and teach while relocating herself across the Canadian map. Chelsea's journey is constantly fuelled by her dreams, and goals, of growing as a professional dancer, choreographer, and creator.

Over the years Chelsea has had the opportunity to experience the position of a director, performer, and choreographer for several groups and companies, as well as enjoyed dipping her toes into the world of television shows, Olympic events, music videos, workshops, commercials, and much more! In recent years, Chelsea has had the incredible opportunity to dance for artists such as Fifth Harmony, Anne-Marie & Marshmellow, Mia Martina, Hedley, The Tenors, and Coleman Hell, with her highlight of dancing in the 2016 & 2018 Much Music Video Awards, and being a lead dancer in two national SPORT CHEK campaigns.

Currently, Chelsea is residing in Toronto and focusing on her company; the Badass Babes Toronto. As one of the directors and choreographers, Chelsea is using this opportunity to infuse the Toronto scene with her style of choreography and creativity, as well as grow and inspire the next generation of female talent!

Dee Kearney

Admin. & Marketing Manager

This Wonder Woman is multi-talented in all aspects of dance!

To name a few ingredients, Dee is a MA Dance Graduate from York, classically trained in ballet & modern, specializes in Canadian Krump, is a trained B-girl, created her own dance theatre company, and the list goes on!

Between being a trusted Admin. Assistant with the Babes, Dee also mentors young women in hip-hop culture & breaking, and spends time embracing her writing skills for magazines such as "The Dance Current Magazine" and "Dance International Magazine".

As a dancer, this gem joined us in Season 4 and has dedicated herself in brilliant ways to her craft, as well as inspiring others! We are SO lucky to call her a BABE, and to have Dee as a part of our creative team.

Madison Harview

Admin. & Marketing Assistant

Madison is a beautiful soul that joined our Badass Babes family in Season 4, later joining the Admin. team in

Season 8! Shes a common voice among our other dancers, and we cherish her positivity and professionalism so much!

Growing up with an extensive dance background in multiple styles, to graduating with a Bachelors of Fine Arts with Specialized Honours in Dance, Madison is undeniably a hard-working, talented, and passionate BABE whom we cherish endlessly!

Today, Madison owns a badass shop in the vinyl car wrapping industry, serving celebs like Deadmau5, and continues to push to take her dancing to the next level! GET IT GIRL!

Brianne Katz-Griffin

Director of Badass Babes Hamilton

Brianne has been dancing since the age of 2, starting her journey in her hometown Orangeville, Ontario. Brianne is trained in R.A.D. ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, and acrobatics. She spent her younger years competing with her home studio nationally and internationally. She is also a two time member of the Canadian National Tap Team, and first time winning gold for Canada in Germany at the World Tap Dance Championships. She spent her later competitive years teaching at her home studio as a certified teacher of the British Association of Teachers of Dancing.


When Brianne moved to Toronto to start her years at the University of Toronto, she became a member and choreographer for the University of Toronto Dance Team. After five years of dancing with them, she joined the Badass Babes Toronto. Since then, she has been grateful to have several professional opportunities in dance and is working to continue pursuing her dance career.


Becoming a partner of this company is a huge step for Brianne to share her passion of dance and woman empowerment. She is ecstatic to join the Badass Babes team as a Director of Hamilton.

Vanessa Janakijevski-Rebelo

Director of Badass Babes Mississauga

Vanessa was born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario and began her training at the age of 5. Over the years she has trained in ballet (R.A.D), pointe, jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, hip-hop, modern, acrobatics with slight training in ballroom styles. 


After leaving the competitive dance world, Vanessa joined Badass Babes Toronto in Season 6 to enhance her skills and knowledge of commercial dance styles! 


Vanessa has had the pleasure of training with world renowned teachers and choreographers from across the globe such as Blake McGrath, Bobby Newberry, Brain Friedman, Mia Michaels, Twitch, Luther Brown, Danny Davalos and Chelsea Davalos to name a few. She has also had the opportunity to perform at events such as Boots and Hearts, the opening and closing ceremonies of the Invictus Games 2017, Carassauga, multiple fundraisers, private events and in music videos. 

Vanessa is also currently a part of the professional cheerleading teams for Toronto Rock and Toronto Wolfpack, which are the National Lacrosse League and Rugby League.


On top of her dance training and certificates, Vanessa acquired a diploma in Advertising and Marketing Communications and is currently working towards her Bachelor of Applied Arts at the University of Guelph-Humber. 


As Director of Badass Babes Mississauga, Vanessa is beyond excited to start this new journey and inspire woman in the Mississauga area with her love and passion for dance!
